Dragon models no está dormida, muchas re-ediciones con mejoras, piezas en resina y PE, pero también sacando nuevas cajas de entretención, en este caso se trata de la maqueta en escala 1/350 del DD-429 destroyer de la US Navy clase Gleaves.
La versión que sacará este mes la marca china, corresponde a la versión de 1942, así que habrá espacio para los inconformistas de poder realizar transformaciones/modernizaciones a granel.
La marca ucraniana Clear Prop Models anuncia su nueva entrega y la verdad es que a mí al menos me sorprende, nunca había leído acerca de este modelo, no sé si exista en otra marca. Se trata del blanco aéreo no tripulado Culver PQ14, en escala 1/48, que tiene su origen en un avión civil.
La maquetas es tradicional, plástico inyectado. Se fabricaron más de 2.000 unidades que se empleaban como blanco de unidades de artillería antiaérea, la aeronave era dirigida mediante radio y en los vuelos de traslado podía ser tripulada ya que disponía de un panel muy básico de instrumentos, era un avión extremadamente liviano, pesando sólo 800 kgs. que eran impulsados por un motor de poco más de 130 HP
RS Models anuncia la entrega de la maqueta en escala 1/48 del Bücker Bü 131 Jungmann, este exitoso biplano alemán es un caso curioso porque por ejemplo en España estuvo en servicio, como entrenador básico, hasta fines de la década del 60.
El avión fue fabricado, bajo licencia, por Japón, alcanzando las 1.200 unidades. Del mismo modo en Checoslovaquía fue fabricado bajo la denominación Aero C.4/C.104. El kit viene con las dos decoraciones, este fue el último biplano construido por Alemania.
