La firma polaca Arma Hobby ha lanzado una versión tropicalizada del icónico caza inglés Hawker Hurricane, el MK IIb Trop en escala 1/48. Lo interesante es que la marca ofrece 3 alternativas de versiones entre ellas una tropical, mejor aun, incluye accesorios impresos en resina 3D y si ud prefiere y tiene una impresora en casa, puede comprar los archivos e imprimirlos en casa, como cambia el hobby, ¿no?
Las entregas comenzarían a fines de mayo 2024, atentos y el pre-order está ya habilitado.
Ver los nuevos productos de la empresa china Jasmodel lleva ineludiblemente a replantearse algunas cosas del hobby, lo primero es que es evidente que no todo está ya inventado y que si bien puedes montar un negocio local, tu visión debe ser global. Si bien han estado en el mercado desde hace meses no es menos cierto que este hobby no deja de sorprender y proporcionar oportunidades para modelistas y emprendedores.
Sorprendente lo que hace Jasmodel, vende maquetas con la estructura de los modelos, en metal… imagino que vendrán ya en camino las empresas que venderán las cubiertas o láminas de recubrimiento -metálicas sin duda-, las pinturas adecuadas, los aftermarkets, los instrumentos y un largo etcétera. Uno suponía que la revolución de la impresión 3D en casa, que con un par de dolares te permitía adquirir el CAD de la pieza a reproducir, independizaba al modelista de las marcas de maquetas, bueno, lo hizo pero viene JasModel y borra de una plumada esa idea, tengo sólo una única expresión para este caso, perplejo.
Esto es distinto a Zoukei Mura con su línea SWS que permite dejar a la vista parte de la estructura interna de las aeronaves, que desde ya son maquetas soberbias.
Sólo como mención señalar que en Latin Militaire 2023 tuvimos precisamente un SR-71, Jasmodel sacando medallas y menciones desde Taiwan. Todo esto restituye la idea que este hobby está muy lejos de estar en estado terminal.
La empresa ucraniana MiniArt, sigue muy activa, ahora anuncia una nueva versiòn en 1/35 de este carro liviano estadounidense, M3 Stuart, que tuvo activa participación durante la 2GM. Si ud. pensaba que el modelo era hasta ahora poco atractivo, vea los renders que ha publicado el fabricante, infinidad de detalles y características que trae ahora sin necesidad de “afters”, sólo hay un comentario: hay que tenerlo.
